Introductions to new clinical staff

Dr Raquel Oeo joined the practice in July as a Salaried GP trained in Spain. She has over six years of experience in primary and urgent care. Dr Oeo is passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centred care. Just over a year ago, Dr Oeo decided to choose to continue her professional journey in the UK and is excited to grow and contribute as part of the clinical team at Fountain Medical Centre.

Joanne joined the practice 2 years ago initially within the admin team, having also worked at Morley Health Centre. Her current role at the practice is as a Trainee Nursing Associate. Her role is to support the health and well-being of patients by providing compassionate, hands-on care. Joanne works closely with registered nurses and the wider healthcare team to deliver safe and effective support across a variety of clinical areas.

Before taking on this role Joanne worked as a dental nurse and a COVID-19 vaccinator, gaining valuable experience in patient care, infection control, and working under pressure during critical times. These experiences shaped her commitment to healthcare and provided a strong foundation to continue to develop her skills through studying at the University of Huddersfield to contribute meaningfully to our practice.
