We are pleased to let you know that we are introducing a new telephone system from 11 June 2021, which will offer several options when calling the practice. The main number to reach the practice will stay the same – 0113 2951600.
The new system will make it clearer and easier to reach us and direct your calls, and will reduce queuing times.
We apologise if you’ve had difficulty contacting the practice during what has been a particularly busy time.
We have been working hard to make calling the practice as easy as possible, and we are pleased to say that we are moving to a new provider, one which is supported by NHS Leeds CCG and used by the majority of GP practices in Leeds.
Once the new system is introduced we will then be adding further options – such as direct lines for people aged 75 and over, vulnerable patients and repeat prescription requests. There will also be an option for direct access to our experienced team on reception, also called care navigators, who have the knowledge and expertise to best deal with your call.
We will keep you updated on these options as they are added and we thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve telephone access to the practice.
